1. Start Your Engine

You’ve signed your purchase agreement, and are on your way to becoming a homeowner. It’s important to remember your design selections, including your pool, need to be finalized within 21 days so as not to hold up your dream home. Take some time to read through your Homeowner Manual – your new home journey has begun!

2. Fun Fun Funding

It’s time to finalize your mortgage application with our in-house lender, PSH Mortgage. You have a 30-day financing contingency, so time is of the essence. Make sure to provide all requested documents and address any requests the lender may have.

3. Oooooh Aaaahh

Take advantage of Preview Night at our Design Studio on Tuesdays from 3-7. You’ll be able to ask our Design Studio experts about everything from your home’s included features to all available options. This will also help you begin to estimate your budget based on your desired options.

4. Personalize, Accessorize & Stylize

Your actual Design Studio appointment is when you’ll meet one-on-one with your design consultant and finalize the design features for your new home. Two important items to remember are:

 1. All design option deposits will be collected at this time.

 2. There will be no changes approved after this point, so please consider your selections carefully!

5. I’s dotted and T’s crossed

All paperwork, design selections, and blueprints are finalized. Your permit package is ready to be submitted. Let the building process begin!

6. Let’s get down to brass tacks

Your sales counselor will set the pre-construction meeting - typically held at the sales model center in your community - where you’ll be introduced to your personal builder. You’ll review all of your selections, discuss the building process, and understand the phases of construction.

7. Only a phone call away

We are here for you! Your sales counselor and your personal builder will be calling you to share weekly updates on the progress of your new home and to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Of course, you can always check for updates and pictures on your personal online portal page.

8. Some assembly required

Your home is taking shape; the exterior walls are up, and interior wall framing is underway. Time to meet again with your personal builder and sales counselor for a pre-drywall inspection where you’ll once again review your selections and verify some of their locations. You’ll also discuss the remaining phases of construction and begin to review the warranty process.

9. There’s no place like home

Your home is complete - hooray! It has passed our Quality Assurance review and you’ll now meet with a member of our Customer Care team who will conduct your New Home Presentation. They will demonstrate the features of your home and teach you how to maintain it for years to come, answer any questions and complete the New Home Presentation documents. You’ll meet with the Customer Care team, the day of closing to confirm your new home is ready to move in.

10. And, that’s a wrap

You’re nearing the finish line. You’ll receive your initial closing disclosure from your mortgage or title company at least three days prior to closing for your review.

11. Keys, Please

Time to take ownership of your brand new Park Square Home. Remember to bring any necessary documentation that you’ll need at the closing. Sign, sealed and funded! Then, you will receive the keys to your new dream home!

12. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down…

We’re still here for you after closing! Our Customer Care team will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Of course, you can always refer to your Homeowner’s Manual for information on products used in your home, maintenance tips, and important numbers. Our ultimate goal is your complete satisfaction with your new Park Square Home.
