Last Friday night we had our Park Square Homes team from Prairie Lake Reserve head out to Ocoee’s monthly “Food Truck Fridays & Movie in the Park” event. Armed with free cupcake vouchers from Yum Yum Cupcakes, Frisbees, and other fun giveaways, we had a great time meeting local families looking to enjoy some snacks and a viewing of Happy Feet 2!
We had a great weekend at the 37th Annual Arts Festival in Mt. Dora! We had a fun booth with prices and information about the Mt. Dora community, and spent our time meeting locals and getting to know some of the great artists that were displaying their works. This past weekend we welcomed back some friends with the Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach organization! We invited Vanessa Echols and her foundation to use our model center in Waters Edge at Lake Nona to film a testimonial video where cancer warriors shared their story.

Our floorwalk of the new Destin model was beautiful! Florida has been quite hot, but with all the windows and doors open we had a fantastic breeze cooling us down. We walked through with our Construction Superintendent, Kevin, and things are looking great before the drywall stage. We also learned from our New Home Consultant in the field that the Destin has been the fastest selling floorplan since it’s release!
Our Veranda Palms opening was a success! We had a large group of Realtors and interested homeowners walk through our models (the Coral Key is shown above) and join us for a great lunch catered by CRAVE Restaurant by Millenia – their chocolate chip bars were delicious!
We are very happy to welcome a few new families to our community of Waters Edge at Lake Nona this past week, including the Westermeyers! We also want to give a big shout out to Christy, who’s been doing a great job taking care of new home owners from walk-in to move-in! Welcome!
