The team at Park Square Homes is thrilled to share the dedication of the 2022 Orlando Police Foundation Hero Home! Construction of the home was made possible through the generosity of the Park Square Homes team and over forty vendors and partners who donated their services towards building this Park Square home in our Summerbrooke community located in charming Mt. Dora, Florida.
The home is complete with three bedrooms, two baths, and a private pool. The net proceeds of the sale came to a total of $430,000, all of which has been donated to the Orlando Police Foundation to support the Orlando Police Department’s employees and their families. Vishaal Gupta, Park Square Homes Co‑Chief Executive Officer, currently serves as a member of the Orlando Police Foundation board of directors and has an in-depth understanding of the impact the organization has had on the local community.
“On behalf of the entire Park Square Homes team, it gives me great pride to be able to give back in such a way and support these outstanding members of our community,” Gupta remarked.
We are proud to turn over the keys to Renee L. Jackson, a retired Boston Police Department officer. She served the department for twenty-six years and looks forward to continuing to serve as a volunteer citizen in her local community here in Central Florida. When Jackson first visited Summerbrooke, she immediately felt the warmth of the community and knew this would be her home. It was a wonderful synergy to have a police officer purchase the new Hero Home. Jackson and her son are looking forward to settling into their new home and community.
The dedication ceremony for the home was held on January 19, 2023. Attendees included officers from the Orlando Police Department, board members of the Orlando Police Foundation, Park Square Homes team members, and the Gupta and Aggarwal families. We were honored to have Eric Smith, Orlando Chief of Police, attend the dedication and meet the new homeowner. Vishaal presented the donation to the chief and Orlando Police Foundation board chairman Joe Nunziata. Afterward, Nunziata then presented Jackson with a dedication plaque that will be proudly displayed on the outside of the home. The ceremony concluded with the official ribbon cutting of the ribbon followed by a tour of the new home.
