A Place in the Sun Live is an international home show that took place at the NEC Convention Center in Birmingham, England September 25th, 26th and 27th.

Home sellers and developers from many parts of the world congregate in Great Britain to offer their homes and projects to those seeking to move abroad or purchase a second vacation home in more sunny climates. Countries that were represented there included France, Italy, Spain, turkey, Mexico, Egypt, UAE, and the USA.

There are also other industries represented at the show that help those seeking to purchase a holiday villa in Florida or elsewhere. These industries include taxation experts, health insurance experts, finance experts, foreign exchange experts, legal experts, and moving companies to name a few.

Also, throughout the convention there where several educational seminars about living and purchasing in all of the different countries.

Park Square Homes had many Realtor partners, known as estate agents in England, representing their homes and communities at this year’s show. Many of these Realtors have been participating in this specific show for several years and are now experts at educating potential home buyers about the home buying process in Florida and its many facets. 

Joelle Austin, the Resort Sales Manager, and Jared Weggeland, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Park Square Homes, were on hand at the show to help their Realtor partners with specific questions, homesite availability, pricing, and even to help a number of people purchase their very own vacation homes on the spot!

There were thousands of visitors at A Place in the Sun Live this year and Park Square Homes Realtor partners will often be following up with several prospects from the show for several months to come until their clients are ready to make the move and purchase a beautiful home in the Orlando, Florida area.
