Park Square Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Hurand as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective Monday, July 29, 2024. His selection comes as a testament to his exemplary leadership and extensive experience in the homebuilding industry. Hurand will continue to lead the creation and execution of growth and operating strategies and build a high-performing, economically successful organization.
He will also focus on developing people, processes, and technology to foster a culture of relentless improvement and transformation throughout the organization. Hurand’s career spans two decades, during which he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, experience, innovation, and a proven track record of success. Keith places a high priority on company culture and is dedicated to leading Park Square Homes toward fulfilling the company’s core purpose of delivering dreams and creating magical memories for its homeowners.
Hurand most recently served as the Chief Development Officer at McWhinney in Colorado, where he led strategic planning across four key business areas: master-planned communities, commercial and mixed-use development, multifamily, and hospitality development. Before McWhinney, he held significant leadership roles within the industry, including President and COO of Newland Communities. During his tenure with Newland, Hurand worked closely with Park Square Homes, on the sale of homesites for several Tampa Division communities.
His extensive background includes 24 years of strategic P&L responsibility and expertise in all facets of managing a top 100 homebuilding company from land planning to human capital development. Hurand has also served as Florida Regional President with WCI Communities and held Division President roles with Taylor Morrison and Century Communities. His leadership experience extends to managing teams of up to 1,000 employees, showcasing his ability to lead large-scale operations effectively. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has strong ties to Florida, having attended the University of South Florida for Mechanical Engineering.
